Medical Examiner
People always have a dream of what they want to become since they were little. They see every day persuasive TV shows; CSI, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, The Investigators. Today there are many medical examiners that help us to determine somebody’s death or solve the mysteries of life. Medical examiners have jobs that are a great benefit to the community they help all around the world and because of them great mysteries and violent cases had been solved.
To be able to have a more solid idea of how to become a Medical examiners or forensic pathologist I searched to see what they specialized on. Medical examiners or forensics pathologist are people employed by federal, state and local, as well as military schools, doctors and, to a lesser extent, hospitals. Medical examiners determined the cause of unexpected or violent deaths like when someone got murdered or if they die of a natural cause but is unknown. To become a coroner, you must first become a doctor. After receiving training in the medical specialty of pathology, that teaches you to determine the cause of death through autopsy, which is a review lab test laboratory to reconstruct how the injuries occurred. This training leads to certification in forensics .
To be a medical examiner you have to work a long path. Personally to me it is an opportunity that will make every afford worth it. To become one there are certain things that you must do many people that follow this career fallow 9 steps . Get a college degree for 4 years after graduating from high school. As a pre-med student, you will take courses in biology, physics and chemistry. The courses in math, English, humanities and social sciences are also required. Some students get an advanced degree before medical school; for entry into medical school is very competitive do the test to medical college admissions.

There are more than 100 medical schools in the United States accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), which accredits medical education programs MD. About 25 schools are accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, which accredits schools that award a degree.
Apply to medical school. You will have to submit the results of your test to the Medical College Admission and score transcripts as well as provide information about your extracurricular activities. Medical schools also require letters of recommendation to measure character and leadership qualities. During the first two years of study in the classroom and laboratory, students will take many science courses such as anatomy and biochemistry and psychology, medical ethics and others. They will learn to do medical records, to examine patients and diagnose diseases.
During the past two years, will have to work in providing medical care under the supervision of doctors. join a residency program for training as a forensic pathologist. The training and clinical pathology (AP / CP) is 4 years while training in anatomical pathology (AP) is only 3 years. You will gain experience in the autopsy and a wide spectrum of pathology.
AP rotations include autopsy, dermatopathology, neuropathology, cytopathology, surgical pathology, and others. SE designated medical examiner hired by the government or other entity. The chief medical examiner or county board of supervisors or commissioners may designate the county medical examiner or city. Some states do not have a chief medical examiner, which is appointed by the governor.
One of the ways similar to forensic doctor that can help you is easier is joining police academy. To be a police officer you have to pass all the tests that add psycholog to the training. Many police work to solve violent cases or natural death on which the cause is not determined. The police academy can help your training, as a medical coroner for me is a lot easier path to follow. Even though being a member of the police will help you to be a coroner everybody has to keep in mind that besides being an easier way to get trained it is a long career that can take years to be able to expand it fully.
Coroners’ race is important and critical to our community. Many of the cases, after many years have been solved thanks to the forensic doctor. Many people die every day; some die of natural causes and another are brutally murdered or have accidents. Forensic scientist have the power to determine the reason that the person has died trough an autopsy where they examine the body thoroughly and depending on the cause of death if it was an accident they search to know what happened and the reason they died. When death is natural it was examined to determine what caused the death. People that are killed are examined for fingerprints, semen samples; if there was a sexual assault and also to see what else may have been done to the person that was murdered. The forensic medical uses many liquids that reveal things about the cause of death. Without the forensic doctor, it would be difficult to determine death and many cases would be resolved.
To be a medical examiner is something that means a lot to me. They contribute a lot to this community and because of them they solve many cases that are really difficult to be determined. Being a medical examiner is a hard path that takes a long time. I would like to be a medical examiner to help the community and to solve cases that are hard to solve. A Medical Examiner is a prestigious career, Even though it is hard the accomplishment is amazing. To help the community and determined peoples deaths and to have discover the guilty person that need to be punish is something priceless to me.
